The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to designated locations while ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with all company, state, and federal transportation regulations.
Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial vehicles requiring a Class A CDL.
Pick up, transport, and deliver freight to assigned locations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Verify loads, shipping documents, and delivery information.
Secure cargo properly before transportation.
Maintain accurate driving and delivery records.
Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
Report vehicle issues, delays, or incidents promptly.
Requirements
Valid CDL Class A license and a safe driving record.
Previous commercial driving experience may be required depending on the assignment.
Candidates must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
Additional endorsements or DOT requirements may apply depending on the job.
